3Shape is a computer system. In this system, 3D digital impressions are used instead of silicone. The operations to be performed in the mouth are scanned and later designed as models on the computer. The designs are produced using the ''milling'' units of the 3Shape system.
As the entire process is conducted on the digital environment, no technical setbacks regarding precision occur and all data are archived in the digital environment.
