wounds remain inside palate. This situation can
cause discomfort during the next 3-4 days when
something touches that area. This feeling of
discomfort is lost in 1 week time and the wounded
area recovers without any traces.

the Operation?

the operation is to keep the area protected from
mechanical trauma. You should pay attention to
what you eat and you should keep away from hard
food. Keeping the operation area clean is one of the
most important factors influencing the outcome of
treatment.
Can I Smoke During the Treatment Period?
Before the operation and during the recovery
period of 1 week after the operation, the patients have to avoid smoking. As a new
tissue forms in the region, providing nutrition for
that tissue is very important and smoking cigarettes
can have a negative impact on nutrition. It is not
suitable to apply gingiva treatment to patients who
smoke a lot of cigarettes.
