Dentgroup Case Competition

Applications are made by participants submitting their case presentations through the Case Competition Application Form page.

The competition is open to participation in all branches (Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Treatment, General Practice, Surgery, Periodontology, Aesthetics, etc.).

How should the case poster be presented?

The case presentation should be in a single-page poster format. It should be explained with photos of what was done during the treatment, which materials and techniques were used.
X-rays taken before treatment, during treatment, and after treatment, intraoral, extraoral, and facial photographs of the patient can be used. The preparer's identification tag (name, faculty, class, and photograph) must be present somewhere on the poster. The presentation should be in PDF format. The file size should not exceed 12 MB.

How is the evaluation done, and who are the jury members?

The top 10 cases are determined by presenting them to the Case Management Board members. Then, an academic jury consisting of dentgroup's specialist and general dentists along with representatives from sponsor companies determine the ranking within the top 10.

What are the awards?

Leading companies in the sector sponsor the case competition. Awards are given to the top 3 cases every year according to these sponsorships. In addition, winners are offered internship opportunities at dentgroup clinics.

When and how are the results announced?

The results are announced on the website www.dentgroup.com.tr and dentgroup social media pages in August.

Where and how is the Award Ceremony held?

In September, the Award Ceremony is held during the dentgroup Academy Event or DEX events, where all sponsors and participants are invited, and winners receive their awards and plaques, and they are given the opportunity to present their case studies.

According to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), any information that identifies or can identify a real person is considered personal data.

 As the `Data Controller` in accordance with the KVKK, your personal data will be evaluated in compliance with the KVKK and within the scope specified below.

Purpose of Processing Personal Data
In accordance with Articles 4, 5, and 6 of the KVKK, your personal data;

Must comply with legality and honesty
Must be accurate and kept up to date when necessary
Must be processed for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes
Must be processed in connection with, limited to, and proportional to the purposes for which they are processed
Will be processed in connection with the activities of dentgroup and its affiliated commercial enterprises, in compliance with the rules for the retention period prescribed in the relevant legislation or required for the purpose for which they were processed.
Transfer of Personal Data
In accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to third parties (project/program partners, institutions with which contracts and cooperation agreements are made, university administrators/employees, legally authorized public institutions and organizations, legally authorized private law legal entities, or foreign countries) deemed necessary within the framework of the Personal Data Processing Conditions and Purposes for the sustainability of dentgroup's activities, including the purposes mentioned above.

Method of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Basis
Your personal data may be collected, processed, and transferred for the purposes stated in this information and consent text, through physical or electronic means, based on different legal grounds such as activities conducted by dentgroup, participation and registration forms for events, course/internship application forms, job application forms, academic or administrative applications, contracts, information obtained for security reasons, and camera recordings, within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.

Rights of the Data Subject
As the data subject, in accordance with Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

By applying to dentgroup, you have the right to:

a) Learn whether your personal data is processed,
b) Request information if your personal data has been processed,
c) Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
ç) Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
d) Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
e) Request deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the law,
f) Request notification of the operations carried out pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
g) Object to the occurrence of a result against you as a result of the analysis of your personal data exclusively by automated systems,
ğ) Demand compensation for damages in case you incur damages due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
Pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 13 of the KVKK, you may submit your applications regarding these rights to dentgroup headquarters at the address: Küçükbakkalköy Mah. Atilla İlhan cad. Aras Sok. No: 2 Ataşehir / İstanbul in writing. Depending on the nature of your request, your applications will be concluded within the shortest time possible and no later than (30) thirty days.
