Aesthetic Smile Rehabilitation with Digital Smile Design, Teeth Whitening, Empress Porcelain Veneers, and Full Porcelain Crowns

The treatment was performed in 2020 and completed within 15 days. The initial photographs were taken in 2020, while the follow-up photographs were taken 3 years after treatment, in 2023.

Our patient visited our clinic due to dissatisfaction with the aesthetic appearance of their teeth. Following clinical evaluations, a personalized aesthetic smile rehabilitation plan involving a total of 10 teeth was developed, taking into consideration the patient's expectations and existing dental structure.

Before treatment, intraoral and facial photographs were taken, and digital impressions were obtained using an intraoral scanner. Based on these records, a personalized Digital Smile Design was created by evaluating tooth shape, dimensions, color harmony, and their relationship with the patient's facial aesthetics.

During the initial phase of treatment, teeth whitening was performed. Subsequently, in accordance with the planned smile design, 8 Empress porcelain veneers and 2 Empress full porcelain crowns were applied. The restorations were designed with careful consideration of natural dental anatomy, color harmony, smile line, and compatibility with the patient's facial aesthetics, aiming to achieve an aesthetically and functionally balanced result.

As a result of the treatment, a natural-looking, harmonious, and balanced smile was achieved in line with the patient's aesthetic expectations. Follow-up photographs taken in 2023, 3 years after treatment, show that the restorations maintained their aesthetic appearance and adaptation.

Comprehensive Oral Rehabilitation with Implant Treatment, Digital Smile Design, and Layered Zirconia Restorations

The treatment lasted 4 months and was completed in May 2026.

Our patient visited our clinic due to dissatisfaction with their removable partial denture and the aesthetic appearance of their teeth. Following clinical and radiographic examinations, a comprehensive oral rehabilitation plan was developed to replace missing teeth with dental implants and restore aesthetics and function using fixed restorations.

Before treatment, intraoral and facial photographs were taken, and digital impressions were obtained using an intraoral scanner. Based on these records, a personalized Digital Smile Design was created, taking into consideration the patient's facial aesthetics, dental structure, and expectations.

During the initial phase of treatment, professional dental cleaning and teeth whitening procedures were performed. Existing amalgam fillings were replaced, and aesthetic cervical restorations were applied where necessary. Subsequently, a total of 5 dental implants were placed: 3 in the right posterior region of the upper jaw and 2 in the right posterior region of the lower jaw. To allow the implants to integrate with the surrounding bone, a healing period of 2 months was observed for the lower jaw and 3 months for the upper jaw.

Following the healing period, the definitive restoration phase began. Using the layered zirconia technique, a total of 9 units of crowns and bridges were placed on natural teeth, while 8 units of implant-supported bridge restorations were fabricated. The restorations were individually planned with careful consideration of natural tooth shape, color harmony, occlusal relationships, and compatibility with the patient's facial aesthetics.

As a result of the treatment, the patient's need for a removable partial denture was eliminated. Fixed restorations helped support chewing function while achieving a natural-looking, aesthetically balanced smile. Treatment of the two molars in the lower left jaw was postponed to a later date at the patient's request.
