Treatment began in January 2024 with metal brackets and fixed orthodontic appliances. Following orthognathic surgery, orthodontic treatment was completed in July 2026.

The patient presented with a narrow and retruded upper jaw, crowding in the lower dental arch, and mandibular protrusion. An anterior crossbite and a deviation of the lower dental midline toward the patient's left side were also identified, indicating skeletal and functional discrepancies between the jaws. Following clinical and radiographic evaluations, a comprehensive treatment plan combining orthodontic treatment and orthognathic surgery was developed.

During the initial stage, fixed orthodontic treatment with metal brackets was performed to align the upper and lower teeth in their planned positions and prepare the dental arches for surgery. Following the orthodontic preparation phase, orthognathic surgery was performed to correct the position of the upper jaw, jaw asymmetries, and anterior crossbite.

Orthodontic treatment continued after surgery to refine the occlusal relationships and reassess the alignment and coordination of the upper and lower jaws.

Upon completion of treatment, a more balanced occlusion between the upper and lower jaws was achieved. The jaw relationships were improved, resulting in a more harmonious smile in both functional and aesthetic terms.

The case began with Invisalign clear aligner treatment in June 2023. The treatment was completed in April 2025.

The patient presented with skeletal mandibular retrusion. Bite discrepancies were present in both the right and left posterior teeth. In addition, there was significant arch length deficiency and severe crowding in both the upper and lower jaws. The upper dental midline was shifted to the patient's right side. Throughout the treatment, Invisalign clear aligners were used to level the upper and lower dental arches. Mandibular Advancement (Precision Wings) integrated into the aligners were used to encourage forward mandibular growth. The patient changed the aligners every 10 days. The teeth were moved into their planned positions, crowding was corrected, and the dental arch form was improved. At the end of the treatment, mandibular growth was successfully guided, the bite relationship was balanced, and a functional, harmonious, and aesthetic smile was achieved.
