Dt. İrem Lapacı Özle was born in Bursa. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2019 and earned her degree in dentistry. In 2021, she began her PhD program in the Department of Orthodontics at Okan University Faculty of Dentistry. She is a member of the Turkish Dental Association (TDB), the Turkish Orthodontic Society (TOD), and the Turkish Aligner Society (TAD). Dt. Clear Aligner Treatment and Teeth Whitening

The patient's treatment began in March 2024 and was completed in May 2026.

Our patient presented with occlusal discrepancies on both the right and left posterior sides due to a retruded lower jaw, crowding of the anterior teeth, and a deviation of the lower dental midline toward the patient's right side. Following clinical and orthodontic examinations, an individualized orthodontic treatment plan was developed to move the teeth into their appropriate positions, correct dental crowding, and improve the occlusal relationship.

The treatment was carried out using the Invisalign clear aligner system. The patient changed the clear aligners every 10 days. Throughout the treatment process, tooth movements were monitored according to the planned stages, anterior dental crowding was corrected, and the dental arch forms were reshaped.

Following the completion of clear aligner treatment, teeth whitening was performed to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the smile.

As a result of the treatment, the teeth were moved into their planned positions and the occlusal relationship was improved, achieving a more balanced smile in terms of function and aesthetics.

Clear Aligner Treatment

The patient's treatment began in July 2024 and was completed in December 2025.

Our patient presented to our clinic with spaces between the upper teeth, a deep bite, and occlusal problems in the posterior regions. Following clinical and orthodontic examinations, it was determined that the upper dental midline had shifted toward the patient's left side. An individualized orthodontic treatment plan was developed to move the teeth into their ideal positions, close the spaces, and improve the occlusal relationship.

The treatment was carried out using the Invisalign clear aligner system. The patient changed the aligners every 10 days. Throughout the treatment process, the upper and lower dental arches were leveled, the teeth were guided according to the planned movements, and the existing spaces were targeted for closure.

As a result of the treatment, the spaces were closed through the alignment and leveling of the upper and lower dental arches, a functionally appropriate occlusal relationship was achieved, and a more aesthetically balanced smile was obtained.

Clear Aligner Treatment

The patient's treatment began in January 2025 and was completed in February 2026.

Our patient presented to our clinic due to dissatisfaction with the aesthetic appearance of their smile. Following clinical and orthodontic examinations, dental crowding associated with the delayed loss of a primary tooth on the right side was identified. An individualized orthodontic treatment plan was developed to move the teeth into their appropriate positions and improve the dental arch form.

The orthodontic treatment was carried out using the Invisalign clear aligner system. The patient wore the clear aligners for an average of 20 hours per day and changed them every 10 days. Throughout the treatment process, tooth movements were monitored according to the planned stages, aiming to correct dental crowding and improve the dental arch form.

As a result of the treatment, the teeth were moved into their planned positions, dental crowding was corrected, and the dental arch was reshaped, achieving a more balanced and aesthetically harmonious smile.
